Today we completed our final design for the side view of the rocket car! This design is meant to be aerodynamic and easy to cut in the band saw. We also want to leave enough material on the car so that it doesn’t just fly away when the rocket lights. To solve this problem, we have a a flared back that adds weight and increases aerodynamic efficiency. We also left enough space in the back for a rocket engine. We precisely measured the length and height of the lines so that we can transfer it from the notebook to the wood. The next step for our project will be to start cutting wood.
