Today, we tested making holes for our axle, and we decided to make the hole that would be on the side of the frames 7/8 inches. The diameter of the axle is around 7/8 inches. The hole through the arm of the catapult will be 1 inch so that the arm can move on the axle. We will probably use two pieces of wood with holes the size of 7/8 inches on the side of the arm to make sure the arm doesn’t slide around on the axle.
