The Process Of Throwing Out A Plastic Bottle
The process of which path your water bottle will take
What Happens To Your Water Bottle
When you throw out your water bottles you never really think about what actually happens to that bottle, well that’s why you are here, to learn about the life cycle of a plastic water bottle. There are three paths in which a water bottle can be taken: In a landfill where it can harm plants and animals because of the toxicity in them, in a stream/river which eventually ends up in the ocean which can also harm plants and mostly animals, or recycling it, which follows a healthy cycle where bottles can be reused and not harming the environment. So the next time you throw out a water bottle thinks about what path you want your bottle to go in.
How You Can Take Action
There is an organization called “TeamSeas”, which that tries to help bodies of water all over the world. All you need to do is visit the site and donate some money to the website. Every Dollar is worth 1 pound of trash taken out of the ocean, which includes plastic bottles. So if you really care about our world and environment, then donate money. We have already raised over 3 million dollars, which is about 3 million pounds of trash.
