Kingda Ka, at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, is the world’s tallest roller coaster. Standing at an insane 456 feet tall, Kingda Ka offers a great and intense ride.

The ride starts with a small turn into the long launch track. After you wait for a few seconds, the rockets you forward on a long piece of straight track before rising up into a top hat, which can be seen in these images. You then drop down through a barrel roll, then you fly over a large hill that takes you into the brakes. In order to reach its insane max height, Kingda Ka needs to reach a super high speed. The coaster launches you up to 128 mph, at an acceleration of 16.35 m/s^2. When Kingda Ka first opened in 2005, it was also the world’s fastest roller coaster before that record was taken by Formula Rossa in 2010. If you want to ride this awesome roller coaster, you must be at least 54 inches tall.
