Space Force. The space service branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, created on December 20, 2019 by Donald Trump.  According to their website, The US Space Force (USSF) is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. Many wonder if President Biden will choose to repeal this branch.

While Biden himself has not publicly spoken about his intentions with Space Force, several experts on space policy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies think that there is a very, very low chance of it being removed anytime soon. Our current president is likely to invest money in research and science, but will be trying to use information found to help people on earth, rather than further space exploration. All we can really do now is wait, and see where the Space Force ends up going.
