What is Valorant you may ask? Valorant is an online free-to-play 5v5 first-person shooters game by Riot Games. Valorant has 16 characters to choose from called “agents”. At the moment there is Astra, Breach, Brimstone, Cypher, Jett, Killjoy, Omen, Phoenix, Raze, Reyna, Sage, Skye, Sova, Kayo, Viper, and Yoru. Each agent has its unique abilities. Valorant is a mix of Overwatch and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or known as CSGO. The objective of Valorant is either to eliminate all players on the opposite team or plant the spike. The spike can only be planted on sites A or B or C depending on the map. Valorant has 7 game modes to play, Unrated, Competitive, Spike Rush, Deathmatch, Escalation, Replication, and Snowball Fight. Most game modes are fairly quick, except, Unrated and Competitive. Each Unrated or Competitive game takes about 30-40 Mins. Games go up 25 rounds, the 2 teams have to try to be the first to win 13 rounds out of the 25 rounds to win. Valorant also has a ranking system. Iron, bronze, gold, platinum, diamond, immortal, and the highest rank, RADIANT! Radiant is the hardest rank to get to, only a handful of people can reach radiant. Valorant is sadly only on a computer, if you don’t have a computer you cant play valorant and if you do Valorant is a great decision.
