Recently with the new advancements in technology, SpaceX has been launching what they call SpaceX Starlink satellites. Their purpose in launching all those satellites is to provide easier internet coverage to all corners of the globe like faraway places of villages and other remote areas. This is now possible because humans have discovered a way to make satellites smaller and cheaper, Old satellites cost about $24,800 per pound, and a small communication satellite that weighed about 4 tons cost about $200 million to send up into space. While new satellites now weigh about 500 pounds and cost about $1,240 per pound. But of course, there are some people who don’t want this because those from astronomy are afraid that all those satellites will block up the skies and prevent them from seeing the universe. There is also the problem of them clogging up the earth’s atmosphere, therefore, making future space exploration and more satellites harder to launch, and also there is another obstacle that is making sure they all don’t collide with each other.
