Lenz’s Law

Lenz%E2%80%99s+Law

Lenz’s Law is a way to explain how electromagnetic circuits still obey Newtons 3rd Law. It states that if the north pole of a magnet is moved near a materiel that experiences the Lanz’s Law (copper or aluminum are examples) the materiel will create its own north pole to oppose the magnet. The magnet that goes over the materiel creates electricity making the magnetic field.

This is important because we use Lenz’s Law to create our electricity in our power plants. If we didn’t know about Lenz’s Law we might not be able to create electricity to power our tools and devices, which would severely limit man kinds technological capabilities.

This is Lenz’s Law on aluminum.
