A YouTuber named Mr. Beast got 1,000 people with Cataract blindness together in one video so he could go pay for their surgery so they could get cure of their cataract blindness.
Cataract blindness is a type of blindness that fogs up your eye lens like a cloudy window, for some people, it takes all your sight. The main symptom of cataract blindness is blurry vision with other symptoms being sensitive to light or glare. Some or most people with Cataract see halos around any type of light.
Mr. Beast paid $1,088 to $2,608 or just $3,500 for each eye of every patient that he treated in that one single video in total Mr. beast spent over 10,000 to help all those 1,000 people. Fun fact majority of the people in that Mr. beast video had cataract blindness for a major part of their lives. Also most people couldn’t pay for their health insurance.
Another fun fact that hospitals pay for 80% of peoples cataract surgery leaving the 20% for the patients to pay but since most couldn’t pay that 20 percent Mr. Beast paid for them.
