Have you ever wondered how a potato cannon works?
A potato cannon has three basic formulas: Distance= Speed x Time, Time = Distance/Speed, and Speed= Distance/Time. These formulas help the user calculate, how long, fast, and far the launched potato will go. For example, if a person is trying to calculate how fast their potato will launch, they can use the speed formula to determine this value. Additionally, if they want to find how long it will take for their potato to reach the ground, they can use the time formula. Whenever someone uses a potato gun, they should always remember these three rudimentary formulas.
Within the potato gun, it combines complex materials to create an intricate machine. This includes a barrel, pressure release valve, air container, and a filling chamber. In potato guns, they utilize air pressure to launch the loaded potato. The potato is pushed into the barrel. When the potato is in its place, it blocks the end of the fuel chamber. Then, the user removes the cap from the end of the chamber (back part of the potato Cannon), puts any flammable substances such as hair spray, and then closes the back. The air and the fuel will mix which, creating a lot of pressure, and it will shoot the potato out.
Some warnings:
