China’s Floating Cars Hit 230kph, Hovering 35mm High

China tested a maglev car floating 35mm above a highway, hitting 142 mph (230 kph) without crashing. Eight cars sped along a 4.9-mile stretch to check safety and road design. Southwest Jiaotong University hopes this tech cuts energy use and boosts traffic flow.
