The Rise of AI

How AI has grown and looking in the future

AI has been on the rise since the release of ChatGPT. OpenAI, the company that made ChatGPT, currently holds the record for the fastest company to hit 100 million users. After this, almost every single company came out with their own AI. My personal worry about this is the competitiveness of each of these companies. If someone pushed their AI, it could end up like Terminator, which is not good. However, AI doesn’t just have to be evil and take over the world. If it’s monitored and safe, it could make daily human life easier.

AI isn’t just used for cheating on homework and taking over the world; Tesla and Nvidia have found other ways to use it. Tesla uses AI for autonomous driving, which helps with motion, lanes, roads, and traffic lights, which helps the car make decisions. Nvidia uses its AI for gaming, which helps with the realism of in-game characters and ray tracing.

Overall, I believe that if AI is monitored and kept safe at all times, it could help people. But what does this “Rise of AI” mean for the average person? AI can be used safely and for good purposes. Hopefully, AI can be used to help people and make life easier. This can only happen if we as humans use our knowledge over the AI. One good test to use on any chatbot would be to ask it something you know the answer to so you can see what the AI will say and see if it will be right or wrong. AI may sometimes be helpful to write your homework assignments or just get a more interesting answer. All in all, make sure you are safe when using AI.
