Orbital Assembly Corporation is aiming to make 2 massive projects, never done before. They are aiming to create 2, rotating wheel space stations that serve as hotels in space.

The first project, designated “Voyager Station,” is the bigger of the two, planning to house around about 400 people; 280 passengers and 112 crew members; and open around 2027. This project would have partial artificial gravity from its rotation to maintain an amount close to lunar gravity; which is approximated to be about 1/6 the Earth’s gravity. They plan to start production of this project around 2026 and its estimated to cost in the tens of billions of dollars.

The second one, designated “Pioneer Station” has little to no information known about it, but what we do know is that it will only be housing about 28 people on it. A miniscule amount compared to its predecessor, Voyager Station.  Hence the size of the station it could be operational as soon as 2025!

As there is not a lot of information about either space station, it is estimated that a trip to the stations may cost upwards of 5 million dollars! The passengers, of course, would have to undergo safety training before boarding each shuttle. The trip could be as short as 3 and a half days according to various sources. This is a pretty bold idea and it might or might not come into fruition, we will just have to wait and see.
