From the beginning of time to this day transportation has been a big part of life. You would travel to go to work or go to school. Back then you would travel to hunt or to roam uncharted areas. Transportation has never been the same. In the beginning their weren’t any cars or ships. You would have to travel barefoot. People started to invent and think about the new ways to travel faster and safer.

A long time ago people started to make canoes. Recently people started to use wheels to put on a carriage. Then they used horses for traveling. Then we attached those horses to the carriage to carry multiple people. And now we have the engine and the car. But how exactly do engines work?

The engine has multiple pistons inside of it which compresses fuel and air which ignites a spark. The spark then causes combustion. The gases expand which start to propel your car. The pistons go up and down pushing the air and the compressed fuel upwards and causing a spark which then sends down the piston which then rotates the wheels.

As time progress society gets more and more advanced. We now have cars that run on electricity. Transportation is getting better, faster, and easier to access. Who knows what we have in store for transportation for the years to come. We might be able to make an elevator that reaches space or make an underground metro that reaches the speed of sound.
