In today’s class we drilled a square hole in one of our wood pieces. This hole is to provide a spot for the power source to go through. In our chest, we will have a layer of lights so this electricity would have to be plugged in to a spot. This is how we drilled the hole in the center of the piece.

First, we created just a ordinary hole in the middle of the space we were cutting. We used this hole to put the cutting blade through. We put the blade through this hole to cut the area out around it to create the big square in the middle of the piece.

We removed the blade from the original spot and put it back in through the hole we created. Then we began to cut. When we finished, we turned the power back off, removed the blade, and took our wood to complete class.
