METAL SHARKS HIGH-SPEED MANEUVERABLE SURFACE VESSEL
Metal Shark’s High-Speed Maneuverable Unmanned Surface Vessels (HSMUSV) are 21 feet long and will sell for less than $500,000 each.
Designed to provide the US and it’s allies with an affordable, rapidly producible USV.
It boasts a maximum range of 575 miles (500 nautical miles) and a top speed of 46 MPH (40 knots).
It is autonomous and features state-of-the-art software by the Unmanned Systems division at Metal Shark.
This allows for Unmanned human-in-the-loop operation.
It can be operated through a portable helm control station or through desktop systems.
With payloads at the front and back of the vessel, it can support an array of payloads, such as tethered or untethered UAV, explosives, or other surveillance units aboard.
