Switching to electric go-karts and EVs can bring real benefits for people and the planet. EVs produce zero tailpipe emissions, which reduces air pollution, leads to cleaner air, and improves public health. Also, electric vehicles are much quieter than gas-powered vehicles, which reduces noise pollution, something that can make cities and neighborhoods more peaceful and less stressful.

Chesapeake Bay

The Chesapeake Bay—the largest estuary in the United States—has been shaped by both nature and people for centuries. Historically the Bay was famous for its rich oyster reefs, fish, and underwater grass that supports wildlife and local economies. Over time, however, human activities such as farming, city development, industrial discharge, and overharvesting changed the Bay’s water quality and habitats, setting the stage for long-term environmental problems that scientists and communities are still working to fix today.

On March 5, 2025, at approximately 9:34 a.m., a Sikorsky UH-60L Black Hawk crashed in Honduras while attempting a "precautionary emergency landing," according to Interesting Engineer with the incident. This crash raises concerns, especially since a similar event occurred over the Potomac River just two months earlier, also involving a Black Hawk.
