One of the recent discovered species is the Bento-Toed gecko or the scientific name is Cyrtodactylus Santana. This is a gecko that was in Timor Leste, a country in Asia. It was found in a limestone cave in Nino Konis Santana National Park. This national park is filled with tropical forests and caves, these caves are small and to find these geckos they could only reach some distances to examine them, and it was a struggle to capture them. The Gecko has a pattern on its body and has five toes on each foot. Another recent discovered species was in antarctica. It is called the Promachocrinus fragarius another name for it is the Antarctic Strawberry Feather Star. Found in Sub-Antarctic Indian Ocean. They have twenty tentacles, and the tentacles are eight inches long. They got the name Antarctic Strawberry Feather Star because the scientist that discovered it thought its body looked like a strawberry. And the tentacles looked like feathers.
