History Of Airplanes
Where airplanes are today is completely different from when they were first built. The first ever airplane built was the Wright Flyer. It was built by Orville and Wilbur Wright. The Wright Flyer took flight for the first time on December 17th, 1903. According to NASA the flight lasted twelve seconds, they traveled a hundred twenty feet, and reached a top speed of 6.8 mph. It is very crazy that airplanes have evolved from the Wright Flyer to planes like the Concorde, Boeing 747, Airbus A380 big planes like those. They have also evolved to private jets that are very expensive like the Gulfstream G800. Airplanes can now fly hundreds of miles and hold a bunch of people in them. The evolution of airplanes is a crazy story how they went from a plane that couldn’t fly ten mph to planes that can fly upwards of 1,000 mph.
