Warner Bros. has been around for almost 100 years and has made tons of super-famous movies and TV shows. HBO and, thus, HBO Max are owned by Warner Bros., along with Cartoon Network, DC, Looney Tunes, and more. Recently,  Warner Bros. started losing money so they merged with Discovery to make one big company called Warner Bros. Discovery in order to try to save money. Even then, Warner Bros. had to start canceling lots of movies and said that they could only release 2 movies in 2022, which were Don’t Worry Darling and Black Adam.

Famously, James Gunn, the new Co-Ceo of DC, fired Henry Cavill from playing Superman and he canceled Black Adam 2, a new Superman movie with Henry Cavill, and Wonder Woman 3. Other shows and movies that were canceled by Warner Bros. were Batgirl, Strange Adventures, Batman: Caped Crusader, Merry Little Batman, Scoob! Holiday Haunt, The Amazing World of Gumball: The Movie, Raised By Wolves, Close Enough, and much more. Warner Bros. stocks dropped a lot because investors don’t like all of the cancellations and started selling their stocks. Warner Bros. even started to look to selling their music rights which are worth 1bn dollars just so that they can stay afloat. Warner Bros. has made some of the best movies and shows ever, like Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Batman, Suicide Squad, and a bunch more. Sadly, it looks like this classic company might not be around a lot longer.
