How to make delicious tacos.
The things you need to buy from the grocery store
1. short ribs or any cut of meat and chuck roast
2.white onion
3.Corn tortillas
4.Quesadilla cheese
5.Garlic
6.Carrots
7.chili powder, salt, cumin ,oregano
8.Bay leaves
9.Chicken Bouillon
10.Guajillo peppers
Directions to make Birria De Res/Quesabirria Tacos
You need a very big pot then on the side you
want to cut your white onion in half , slice
your carrots, cut the tip of your garlic bulb
cut the stem off the peppers and remove
seeds. Next you want to add all the
Ingredients into your very big pot and
add water, add in all seasoning except for the
chili powder. Then you want to skim , after
30 minuets of simmering you want to skim the top of the broth to remove any impurities that have come out of the bones from simmering.
It will look like little bits of foam on the top of the broth.
Then you want to take out the peppers from the broth and blend them, if needed add a bit of broth for a smooth texture.
Continue to let the stew simmer until the meat is tender and easily shreds.
Taste the broth and adjust seasonings as needed during the cooking process.
remove the meat from the broth and finely chop.
Save the grease that comes to the top of the stew from cooking.
Save it all and add the grease to a small/medium size skillet.
Dip the corn tortillas into the grease, then place the tortilla on a large skillet or comal.
Fry the tortillas in the grease over medium heat.
Top the tortilla with chopped birria beef and shredded cheese.
Fold the taco over while it’s frying, pressing down with the spatula to help flatten the taco.
Fry both sides until the taco is crisp.
Spoon some of the broth into a small bowl, top this with cilantro and onion and serve alongside the tacos.
This is perfect for dipping the tacos in, or simply drink it. It’s bone broth, Its very delicious enjoy.
