By: Owen Elling, Journalist

Self-driving cars are here and there is a lot of excitement surrounding new technology. However, it should be reliable and secure before large-scale deployment. Do you believe self-driving cars can go where you want to go?

Many experts say self-driving cars can be trained to be safer than human drivers. By monitoring and directing sensors and cameras, these cars can not only perceive their surroundings, but also predict what lies ahead that humans cannot. One day, we can make the world a safer place by eliminating human error and reducing car accidents.

However, it will be a long process before self-driving cars reach the end consumer. It takes a lot of time for the tests and people to get used to the technology.
