Energy is something everyone uses, every day, all over the world. So how can we use our abundance of water to generate electricity?

Hydropower makes water flow down a tube at high speeds, and the current of the water will spin a propeller. The propellor will then turn a generator that is connected to power lines.

Dams make it more efficient because water runs through them, and the water cycle brings the water back to the source, making it reusable.

This is a lot healthier for the world because it doesn’t burn any fossil fuels, it doesn’t release any greenhouse gasses, and we have lots and lots of water to use.
