Now, you may be wondering what a hybrid car is. In Simple terms, a hybrid combines at least one electric motor with a gasoline engine to move the car, and its system recaptures energy from regenerative braking.

The Koenigsegg Regera has a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V-8 behind the passenger compartment working together with three electric motors.

The Regera is constructed almost entirely out of carbon fiber and Kevlar, and weighs in at 3,500 pounds. The vehicle has a horsepower of 1,489, a top speed of 250 mph, and can go from 0 mph to 250 mph and back to 0 mph in 31.49 seconds, which is a current world record.

Cool Add-Ons

The Regera has an on-board Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and satellite navigation, which are controlled through a 9.0-inch infotainment system and also has front, rear, and inner cameras. Koenigsegg also equipped the Regera with the ability to run vehicle diagnostics and update software.
