The Design of the Fastest Car in the World
A High Powered Car
There are many legal fast sports cars but none really compare to the top speed of the Hennessey Venom GT.
The Venom GT is truly a supercar, with only two doors, an aerodynamic build, and the ability to go to 60 miles per hour in 2.4 seconds. These are truly crazy statistics, and to top it off, it has a top speed of 270 miles per hour. This is what it says on the website, but tests done by other people with the Venom GT have proven this wrong in a good way. People have gotten up to 275 and maybe even more.
Compared to other super cars such as the McLaren Speedtail, Koenigsegg Regera, and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, the Venom GT beats all of them in terms of horsepower. The most powerful out of all the rivals is the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, with a max horsepower 1,600 compared to the Venom GT which has a max horsepower 1,817.
The Venom GT is made with a modified Lotus Exige chassis and the car weighs in at about 2,685 pounds total. This is thanks to the carbon fiber bodywork and the wheels.
Though it may not be the fastest car, it sure is super powerful.
