Subnautica Below Zero, the second instalment in the Subnautica franchise, is all about an engineer traveling to the crash site her company’s spaceship made in the first game to discover and study the life on the ocean planet of Subnautica as a marine biologist. The goal given to the main character by the company was to extract any information about the world, take home samples for research, and survive. Just like his predecessors, the main character we follow also crashes into the ocean and has to survive with little to no equipment. Playing as the guy, we are supposed to gather resources, engineer new and unique items to help us proceed in the game, and uncover the mystery of Subnautica.
