The New Postal Service Trucks
Over the next 12 years, over 150,000 new mail trucks will hit the road with new and much-needed features to maximize the productivity and safety of postal workers. Some of the new features will include a backup camera, a frontal collision warning, and air conditioning, which is very important during long summer days. There are also loads of other safety features coming in these new models. President Joe Biden also stated that he would like to replace the federal fleet of 645,000 trucks and convert them to electric vehicles. These trucks are expected to begin service in 2023.
