Rolls Royce Sweptail
The Rolls Royce Sweptail is a car that is created in the United Kingdom by the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars company.
In May 2017 it had a debut held at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event, and it is considered to be the most expensive commissioned car in the world at a price of nearly $13 million USD.
The director of design for Rolls-Royce Motor cars, Giles Tailor, said in a statement. “It is a Rolls-Royce designed and hand-tailored to fit a specific customer”. According to Rolls, in 2013 a customer approached the company and asked it to build a one-of-a-kind motor car inspired by the luxury yachts of the 1920s and 1930s.
Rolls-Royce has not released any technical specs of the car, but it is believed to be based on the current generation Phantom Platform, which means the company’s 6.75-liter V-12 engine is most likely under its long bonnet.
It can go from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and its top speed is 250 km/h or 155.375 mph (limited).
