Iron-Man flight suit. Titanium printed

By: Aidan Bishop, Journalist

Jamie Savage from Mythbusters built a titanium iron man suit. He used a new 3D printer that allows you to print in titanium. Titanium is one of the strongest metals it is also the lightest. They printed out layer by layer of all the pieces of armor and then fit them together using screws and other tools. Recently tech had been developed allowing one person to float above ground and other surfaces. Using this technology they were able to attach it to the suit and make it so the wearer could float above the ground. as of right ow it has no weapons attached like many would assume of a fully functional Iron-Man suit would need. The armor can have someone pilot it but hey need to be a certain size and weight in order for it to be able to fly. As of right now there is no way to copy or reproduce this as there are no blueprints. Titanium printers are very expensive and as for the tech that allows it to fly, well it isn’t exactly available to purchase as it is not yet being mass produced.
