Lock picking is something that is considered useful to social engineers under the right circumstances. In movies, lock picking is typically a fascinating way to steal, escape, and do many other things in action movies, but did you know that lock picking could be a useful skill to have? Before we get into how lock picking works, you should probably know what it is. Lock picking is the skill of unlocking a lock without using the initial key to unlock it. Even though many civilians see lock picking as a crime-related activity, it’s actually something you could use as a hobby or like I said before, it could be a life skill you probably didn’t know you needed. So, how does lock picking work?

It’s really cool, right? Now you know how to pick a lock! Some of you might be wondering how this will help you in your life, but the truth is I can’t really tell you because everyone is different. You might be arguing with your sibling and he takes something from you and locks it in his room, well you should tell him now that that won’t work well for him. Maybe you are kidnapped one day and your in a locked room, well now you can plan your escape. In the end, it doesn’t really matter how you choose to use your skills, as long as it’s not used for crime-related activities like robbing a bank.
