Before we did our project, we did a prototype jewelry box the reason for this was to have an idea of what we would do when it comes to building our project. First we had to measure then cut using the band saw. while we were cutting the wood, we had problems cutting the wood but then we went back to fix what was wrong. Then, we started putting it together using glue and figuring out how it would best fit.
This relates to engineering because we were plan and building are prototype. While we were building we had to put and take apart the wood to see which way it would fit better.
