MOSE the Tide Barrier

MOSE the Venice Tide Barrier is a barrier in the Venice Lagoon to prevent from flooding of the city. MOSE stands for  Modulo Sperimentale Elettromeccanico. Venice, Italy is a popular country but has lots of water damage which is decreasing the popularity of the tourist attraction. MOSE was invented to help stop rising tides from damaging the country. The barrier works by big bulky blocks of metal rising up at an angle to separate the tide from the lagoon.
