I will be teaching you how to create a wood lamp, but first I’m gonna tell you the tools needed to make a wood lamp.
- A 40 cm piece of wood (apple tree)
- A plexy tube with a length of 30 cm and a width of 4 cm
- Glue
- Cellulose based varnish
- 5 cm brush
- Led light emitting diod which is 200 cm (yellow)
- Led light emitting diod setting adapter
- Workplace tools.
Now lets get started. First you are gonna be cutting your wood with a band saw by 2 cm. Next once you have all your wood cut your gonna draw a circle in the center of every piece of wood, then after that start to drill holes where you marked the circles. Now your going to make the wood smooth with an emery tool. Next glue wood rods to every piece of wood and then out everything together. Now your going to varnish your wood with a brush so your wood doesn’t dry out. Now place your plexy light into all the circles drilled out in the pieces of wood. Now it’s all done and you have yourself a wood lamp.
This project relates to engineering because you are following the steps of engineering when you are building the lamp. You also have to do the process correctly for it to work
