The tallest building in the world is currently Burj Khalifa, which was built in 2004. It is located in Dubai and it is whopping 2700 feet tall. But Saudi Arabia is determined to take the lead from United Arab Emirates, it’s neighbor country.
Meet Jeddah Tower, the world’s new tallest building. It’s going to have a height of 3281 feet tall which is a lot more than Burj Khalifa. The Jeddah Tower is planned to be complete in 2019. This means that we will have a new tallest building in just about 1 year.
This relates to engineering, because the architecture and the design was built by engineers.
