The 2025 version comes in three different models, with a battery range of 625 to 725 km based on a special test in China. One of the coolest things about the G6 is its “bulletproof” batteries. These batteries charge really fast at 3C, they can go from 10% to 80% in about 15-20 minutes, and at 5C, they do it even faster, in just 12 minutes. The company is even working on making the battery charge in only 5 minutes, which would be awesome for people who are always in a hurry. The Xpeng G6 2025 model has really cool features, like the Turning Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS). It uses a 40-core Turning chip that works as well as 3 regular chips combined. Xpeng is also using the chip to make something called the Canghai neural network, which makes the car process images 12 times faster and have a better performance. This could help the car reach level 4, of self-driving, which means it might drive on its own without much help from the driver.
The G6 will cost around RMB 176,800 (US$24,400), which is 11% cheaper than last year’s model. That’s much cheaper than a Tesla Model Y, which costs almost twice as much. So, the Xpeng G6 is a great option if you want a high-tech electric car without spending as much money!
