On the 6th of March, 2023, the U.S. Air Force and Northrop Grumman Corporation reached a big milestone in developing the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).“As we modernize our nuclear triad, the ICBM Systems Directorate is driven to securely deliver America’s ICBM capabilities,” Brig. Gen. William Rogers, the Air Force program executive officer commented, emphasizing the job of the Sentinel system in national security.
