One of the energy industry’s biggest challenges is keeping nuclear waste under control. The world is needing nuclear waste more and more, so keeping nuclear waste under control is very important in the matter. Usually doing this is costly, but Moltex’s new WATSS process reduces nuclear waste and recycles it into a pure energy source. This is important because there are so many risks that disappear with this method. Nuclear waste can be problematic, but this method turns 90% of it into a pure energy source.
The 24-hour chemical process starts by extracting 90% of transuranic material used from nuclear fuel which transforms the nuclear waste into a powerful, pure, and strong energy source. This makes an opening for unique and powerful nuclear utilities. As of March 5th, over 80 small modular reactors are being built, which further increases the amount of energy Moltex will harvest from extracting the transuranic material and turning it into a pure energy source. Additionally, 66 bigger nuclear power plants are being built, which, in the future, will generate a lot of pure energy. This process is very innovative, as Moltex might’ve just solved one of the energy industry’s biggest problems., as well as expand their inventory of equipment and become capable of so much more.
