There is currently a robot called “LISTER” that is helping NASA explore the moon’s depth and may know how the moon was made. LISTER (Lunar Instrumentation for Subsurface Thermal Exploration with Rapidity) is said to provide critical information on the moon’s origins. LISTER was brought to the Moon by the Blue Ghost Lunar Lander. Scientists are eager to get information from LISTER because, after years of research, they still can’t find out how the moon was formed. LISTER is going to be measuring the moon’s internal heat flow to try and get more information on the moon’s formation. LISTER has technology that is going to be able to reach farther into the moon than we have ever seen. LISTER’s data will play a big part in NASA’s Artemis program which aims to sustain a human presence on the moon. Recently, experts have explained that LISTER is more than just a tool, it is a huge leap for human exploration of space.
