The Evergreen G-class is a group of 11 currently operating ships, with a few more still currently being built, each weighing more than 240,000 tons. These giants were built in many different shipyards, and cost billions of dollars to make.
#2) CMA CGM JACQUES SAADE (23,000 TEU)
CMA CGM Jacques Saade is the first ship in a class of nine sister ships. Launched in 2019, she weighs a total of 236,583 tons, and is 400 meters long.
#1) MSC IRINA (24,346 TEU)
MSC Irina is the largest cargo ship in the world. It can carry a whopping 24,346 standard sized containers, and weighs 240,739 tons. The Irina class only has two ships built so far: the MSC Irina and the MSC Loreto.
