The CH-7 is an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) that is able to fly at high altitudes and last a long time in the air. It was created by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). It is unknown if the images were shown of a prototype, but it has been known that testing was complete, and they are now working on making it.
The drone was made to be stealthy and was also made to penetrate hostile airspace. The drone is also capable of surveillance, intelligence, and reconnaissance missions. The drone could also potentially be used for strike missions.
The drone measures around 10 meters in length and 22 meters for wingspan. The drone is powered by one turbofan engine that makes it able to fly at mach 0.5 to mach 0.6, with a maximum speed of mach 0.75. It is able to fly 13,000 meters in the air and is able to operate for around 15 hours 2,000 kilometers away.
The design of the drone has a blended wind-body airframe that shows that it has a high level stealth and is able to be monitoring other vehicles even in dangerous weather and environments, according to Chinese reports. The chief engineer of the CH-series drones, Shi Wen, said that the CH-7 is able to detect hostile vehicles and targets for a long time.
The images and videos show the CH-7 on an unidentified highway. no images or videos have shown it in the air yet. People also have not yet confirmed if it even is the CH-7, but many analysts are confident that it most likely is the drone.
