First Electric Guitar Made
The first ever electric guitar was made in 1932, but it wasn’t the first electric instrument. Before the electric guitar there were many experiments to amplify the sounds of string instruments. It started with putting telephone transmitters in banjos and violins. Now back to the guitar. The first electric guitar was made by the “Rickenbacker Electro Stringed Instrument Company”, but before that, a jazz guitarist named Charlie Christian started with putting pick-ups on an acoustic guitar.
