We need a better battleship because of the growing tension in Europe and East Asia. Tension between the USA and China is growing each day, with China wanting to invade Taiwan. The USA and Taiwan are allies. China claims that Taiwan is its territory. Taiwan disagrees and says they’re independent. This is causing tension in East Asia. Taiwan is essential to the USA because of its products. Taiwan companies manufacture nearly 70 percent of semiconductors and ninety percent of advanced chips. That impacts PlayStation and new Apple phones. Losing Taiwan would make it take longer and cost more for those products to be made.
Since we need to fight at sea, we need better battleships.
The USA only neighbors two countries, Canada and Mexico, and both of them are our allies. We have allies all around the world, some in Asia and Europe. Some of these allies are in tense situations with their enemies. We need to assist them quickly if they were to get into a war.
As other countries’ technology grows, the US also needs to improve. We spend so much money on the military, we should have the best military. What makes the USA so great is its military never losing a battle. It is a deterrent against our enemies so they don’t go to war. If the US is strong, other countries will be less likely to attack the US or our allies. They’ll fear the USA.
In conclusion, we will control the sea if we have a faster battleship. Because of high tension, we can help our allies in East Asia with faster battleships. We are surrounded by sea, so we need to have a speedier battleship in an emergency. We stop wars by having these as a deterrent.
