Almost every tech fanatic is always looking for the next, more powerful computer. Normally, a desktop PC is always the way to go but this laptop is good competition. Not only does it have the top of the line specs, it also has a sleek and modern design. That can easily fit into the average size backpack.

DESIGN

To start off, the XPS 17 has a huge 17 inch display which gives you lots of space for productivity. It has a touch screen that has almost zero input delay which is very good for designing or quick actions. There is a very little bezel on the side of the screen which adds to the modern look. The keyboard has a satisfying click that is quick and soft to the touch. For comparison, this laptop is a little bit bigger than the 16 inch MacBook pro.

SCREEN

The screen on this laptop is stunning. As said before, there is almost no bezel. To put that to scale it has a screen to body ratio of 93.7%. The combination of it’s OLED and a 3840 x 2400 display makes it crucial for watching movies, TV shows, and playing video games. When I watched pirates of the Caribbean, every wave and detail looked amazing and it really enhanced the experience.

SPECS

Last but definitely not least, the specs. This laptop packs a powerful 10th Gen intel core i7 10875H processor, a 1TB SSD, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q GPU. This combination of specs can pretty much devour anything that you throw at it. Split screen works pretty good but I recommend using no more than two applications at the same time. When I play games like Fortnite, you can turn the graphics all the way up to max and still run 60 FPS.

CONCLUSION

This computer is definitely worth the money because of it’s high quality specs and build. Once again, if you are planning on using it for gaming, working, or entertainment, it can conquer the task.
