After 22 years, the fourth game in the Crash Bandicoot series has come out. Released in September 2020, Crash Bandicoot 4, It’s About Time is the newest Crash game. The story of the game is set after Crash Bandicoot Warped, the third Crash game. At the end of the third game, the nefarious Dr. Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Tropy, and Uka Uka are sent to an alternate dimension that serves as a prison. But, In Crash 4, Uka Uka uses all of his power to make a interdimensional portal, allowing N. Tropy and Cortex to escape. Crash and Coco (Crash’s sister) travel across different dimensions to stop N. Tropy and Cortex. With a new game, comes new characters. There are four new masks, called quantum masks. These masks aid Crash and Coco on their journeys.

So, is the game good? Yes, it’s probably the best Crash game. Not only is it long and entertaining, it is also playable on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. With the new quantum masks, every level is enjoyable in it’s own unique way. The bosses are fun and rage-worthy at the same time. Lastly, not only are you able to go through the game normally, but after boss three, you unlock what the game likes to call N. Verted Mode, which gives each level a different art style. As you can see, Crash 4 is such an entertaining game, and there is so much to do.
