The Earth is heating up because of something called “Global Warming.” Global Warming is the increase of the average temperatures in the Earth’s atmosphere. Global Warming is caused when carbon dioxide, methane, or nitrous oxide is in the atmosphere. As these greenhouse gases are in the atmosphere, some gases are being released into space while most of the gases are trapped in the atmosphere. These greenhouse gases are being released into the air by humans. Humans are releasing these greenhouse effects by driving cars, burning fossil fuels, and more. Each year, humans are releasing 51 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. But theirs a way to reduce a substantial amount of greenhouse gases from going into the air. We can turn off any electronics if were not using them.
