Northern Lights
The Northern lights are also called an aurora or polar lights. These lights are a natural light display is the sky. In simple terms, these lights are created by ions of solar wind collide with atoms of nitrogen and oxygen from our earths atmosphere and when this energy gets out it creates these colorful glowing lights in the sky.
The Aurora is not harmful to us humans. Some places you can see the northern lights is in Tromso Norway, Swedish Lapland, Reykjavik Iceland, Yukon Canada. There is also the southern lights and you can see those from Stewart island New Zealand, Queenstown New Zealand, South Georgia island, Antarctica and Victoria Australia.
