As most people know, the COVID-19 vaccine has finally been released to health care workers and essential workers. The COVID-19 vaccine is available to men and women aged 18 and up because it has only been tested on adults. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, after health care workers and essential workers have been vaccinated, adults aged 75 or older will be the next priority. Followed by adults aged 65 to 75 and then people aged 16 to 64 with high risk medical conditions. Public news reporters predict the COVID-19 vaccine will be available to the public around May.
