Jetpacks have been made since 1961 ever since Buck Rogers flew a jetpack in a 1928 show. However, no jetpacks were fully functional and safe. You would have 30 seconds of gas to fly and have your legs inches away from two engines that are about 1300 degrees. The designer of the worlds first fully functional jetpack is Nelson Tyler. His jetpack can fly up to 6,000ft in the air. The jetpack is piloted be Tyler’s partner, David Mayman.
