White Holes and Their Connection to Black Holes

The existence of wormholes, a supposed passage through space and time, has been questioned for years. Many have said that wormholes might be black holes. However, after calculations proved that white holes, the conceptual opposite twin of black holes, could be real, it seems that they both may be part of wormholes.

After the discovery of white holes, it was suggested by Albert Einstein and Nathan Rosen that black holes and white holes were connected through space and time by a bridge. This bridge was called the Einstein-Rosen bridge, which is today termed as wormholes.

Despite the intriguing concept, we aren’t sure whether one could actually progress through it- or if they’re even real. The math for white holes check out, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s real. Also, Einstein-Rosen wormholes are speculated to be unstable and too tiny to get through. However, future technology may be able to solve these problems and allow for human safety during travel. But until then scientists would continue to theorize and discover the depths of our universe.
