There are a lot of animals that are endangered but today we will be talking about the top 3, the Javan rhinoceros, the Vaquita, and the Mountain gorilla.

Javan rhinoceros

Javan rhinoceros are becoming very rare in the wild. Do to people haunting them for their horns and for there loss of habitat because of wars their numbers have dropped down to around 67 javan rhinoceros. If we don’t stop haunting them they will be one of the largest mammals to go extinct. We have to start taking action NOW!!

Vaquita

The vaquita is one of the animals that truly might not have a bright future. Its numbers have dropped down drastically to 10 or maybe even less, sadly. Because of illegal fishing and fishing nets that get caught on them and drown them the vaquita might go extinct very soon. At this point we can hope a miracle will fall out of the sky in to the ocean and help the vaquita because clearly humanity can’t, instead we harm them.

Mountain gorillas

It has been estimated that there is about 1,063 mountain gorillas left in the wild. Their future for sure looks better than the vaquita that’s one positive thing I can tell you. But even though there is around 1,063 left that doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t endangered, we still have to keep an eye on them so there numbers don’t just drop out of nowhere. The mountain gorillas numbers will be dropping if we don’t do anything about illegal poaching, habitat deforestation, pollution, and diseases.
